Henry Hickson

Henry is a robotics researcher with interests in swarms, bio-inspired systems and marine robotics. With a background in the marine industry and a passion for mountain sports, he has a long standing commitment to protecting our natural habitat. His current research revolves around the concept of a 'Hive Mind', a cloud based information sharing resource for distributed robotic systems. He hopes this technology can open doors for implementing robotics in the real world across a variety of domains to provide sustainable and efficient solutions for future generations.

Henry hopes to help build the PROTEAS network and contribute to its growing body of sustainability focused research, aligning with his long term vision for sustainable development through robotics.
